Softball Recap: Dale County Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Dale County's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chilton County Tigers on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Warriors haven't been shut out since back in February.

Dale County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shayleigh Whitman, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Dale County and nudges their season record down to 13-6. As for Chilton County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4-1 record this season.

Dale County has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Community on the 25th. As for Chilton County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-3 win against Harding Academy on the 25th.
