Volleyball Recap: Edgemont Has No Trouble Against Cody-Kilgore

Edgemont won the last time they faced Cody-Kilgore and things went their way on Saturday too. The Moguls were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cowboys/Cowgirls. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Moguls.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-13.

Edgemont found their leader in sophomore Kaylee Mergen, who had four digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Mergen.

Edgemont now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Cody-Kilgore, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

Edgemont will challenge Hot Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cody-Kilgore, they will take on Crawford on Tuesday.
