Basketball Recap: Doherty Memorial Takes a Loss

Doherty Memorial and Malden Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Doherty Memorial had to settle for second. They lost 78-52 to the Malden Catholic Lancers. The Highlanders were down 64-41 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Doherty Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Malden Catholic, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-2.

As of now, neither Doherty Memorial nor Malden Catholic have any future games scheduled.
