Basketball Recap: Southwestern Skates Past Iowa-Grant with Ease

There's no place like home for Southwestern, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They breezed by the Iowa-Grant Panthers to the tune of 57-27 on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-27 last Monday.

Southwestern has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-14 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Iowa-Grant, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Southwestern and Iowa-Grant could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Southwestern will square off against Darlington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 185 places (356 vs. 171). Similarly, Iowa-Grant (ranked 362nd) will meet Cuba City (ranked 35th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
