Make it six blowout wins for the Trinity Trojans this season. They claimed a resounding 73-19 win over Brooklyn on the road. Trinity's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for De'oshianna Bennett, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Nilah Thornton was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Brooklyn struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Trinity racked up 16 assists.
Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Brooklyn, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will take on Cornerstone Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Cornerstone Christian is ranked 260th, while Trinity is ranked 262nd). As for Brooklyn, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Cuyahoga Heights at 12:00 p.m. Cuyahoga Heights has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
