Baseball Recap: Louisburg Comes Up Short

If Louisburg was riding high fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Eudora on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 9-0.

Louisburg's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Eudora, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10-1.

Looking ahead, Louisburg will be playing at home against Washington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eudora, they will venture away from home to take on Bishop Miege on Thursday. The Cardinals are facing the Stags at the right time seeing as the Stags are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
