Shishmaref won the last time they faced Brevig Mission and things went their way on Saturday too. The Northern Lights blew past the Huskies 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Northern Lights.

One reason for the win was Shishmaref's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-13.

Shishmaref now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Brevig Mission, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Shishmaref has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Aniguiin on the 8th. Hopefully Brevig Mission paid attention to the Northern Lights' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Northern Lights at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
