It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but West Nassau ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Hilliard Red Flashes 5-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-1 back in March.

West Nassau is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Hilliard, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Nassau will take on Ponte Vedra at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
