Baseball Recap: Holmes Comes Up Short

Holmes fell victim to Ludlow and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Panthers. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Holmes' record now sits at 3-10. As for Ludlow, their record is now 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holmes will head out to face off against Bracken County at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Polar Bears at the right time seeing as the Polar Bears are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Ludlow, they are taking a road trip to challenge Owen County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
