Wyoming is 8-1-1 against Finneytown since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cowboys will host the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Wyoming is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.
Wyoming barely beat Madeira the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cowboys were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Mustangs and Amazons on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.
Kenzie Hayes tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April.

At the plate, Lexie Evans was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Anna Galinger was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.
Wyoming was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They are 5-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Finneytown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 24-9 to Indian Hill.
Finneytown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was J-Anna Steele, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
The victory got Wyoming back to even at 7-7. As for Finneytown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
Finneytown's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Wyoming hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. It's a different story for Finneytown, though, as they've only averaged .253. Will they be able to contain Wyoming's hitters?
Everything went Wyoming's way against Finneytown when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Wyoming made off with a 16-1 win. Will the Cowboys repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
