Volleyball Recap: Russell Takes a Loss

Russell managed to slip by Greenup County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Devils lost 3-0 to the Musketeers on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Red Devils haven't been shut out since back in September.

While Russell ultimately came up short, they really made Greenup County work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-23, 25-17.

The defeat snapped Russell's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 26-10 record. As for Greenup County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.
