Volleyball Recap: Biggs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Biggs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Maxwell Panthers, falling 3-0. The Wolverines were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Maxwell scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-18.

Biggs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Maxwell, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Biggs will challenge rival Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Maxwell is set to take on their familiar foe Portola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
