Basketball Recap: Richwood Takes a Loss

Richwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 48-31 bruising from the Sterlington Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Panthers are ranked 47th).

Richwood's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Sterlington, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richwood will head out to face off against Bastrop at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sterlington, they will head out on the road to square off against Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
