Basketball Recap: Cabool Comes Up Short

Cabool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Bakersfield Lions 63-26. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Cabool now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Bakersfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Cabool and Bakersfield will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bulldogs see the court they'll take on Thayer at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2026. As for Bakersfield, their break will end when they face Bradleyville at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
