Brighton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Okemos Wolves on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Brighton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Okemos' winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-11, 25-19.

Okemos now has a winning record of 2-1.
