Football Game Recap: Rock Hill vs. Ironton

Ironton were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They made easy work of Rock Hill on Friday and carried off a 47-13 win. That's another feather in the cap for Ironton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

It took a quarter to shake off the cobwebs, but after zero first-quarter points, the Ironton offense picked up 27 points in the second quarter. Rock Hill countered with 13 points, leaving the score at 27-13 going into the half. The other side of the ball was dominant for Ironton in the second half, holding Rock Hill to a measly 0 points.

Ironton will be playing at home against Dawson-Bryant at at 7:00 PM next week. Unlike Ironton, Dawson-Bryant will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Rock Hill, they will face off against Gallia Academy. Gallia Academy are cruising in on a four-game winning streak.
