East St. John made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Metairie Park Country Day, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The East St. John Wildcats were the clear victor by a 25-13 margin over the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns on Monday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 12 runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for East St. John and bumps their season record up to 5-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 14 runs. As for Metairie Park Country Day, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as East St. John Wildcats challenge Thibodaux Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Metairie Park Country Day, they will venture away from home to face off against Bonnabel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
