Geno Perry Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Lowellville got the W thanks in part to Geno Perry playing the best football he has all season. Perry rushed for 282 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Springfield Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Dante Gentile
Springfield picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Dante Gentile. Gentile turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 187 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 115 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Gentile and Springfield will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lowellville at 7:00 p.m. The Tigers had to take a loss when they last met the Rockets, but Gentile had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
