Basketball Recap: Webster County vs. Crawford County Eagles

Webster County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 42-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crawford County Eagles.

Crawford County found their leader in freshman Kamarli McGuire, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 16 points in addition to six steals and five boards. With that strong performance, McGuire is now averaging an impressive 2.4 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikayla Ivey, who posted six points and eight rebounds.

Webster County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Crawford County, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.
