Lake Linden-Hubbell was forced to take a big defeat against they on Thursday, they got the better of them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Norway Knights. Considering the Lakes have won four matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Payton Goldsworthy, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and three runs.

Goldsworthy wasn't the only one making solid contact: Lake Linden-Hubbell kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The Lakes are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
