Baseball Recap: Triton Hawks vs. Cape Fear Colts
After flying high against Pine Forest last Friday, Triton came back down to earth. The Triton Hawks suffered a tough 13-3 loss at the hands of the Cape Fear Colts on Monday. Triton has not had much luck with Cape Fear recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

On Cape Fear's side, Mason Hughes was a major factor no matter where he played. Triton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Cape Fear, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

As for Cape Fear, they will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Douglas Byrd at 6:00 p.m. Douglas Byrd hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.
