Baseball Recap: St. Edmund Gets the Win

St. Edmund took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Cecilia, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Fighting Blue Jays came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs on Friday, sneaking past 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Blue Jays.

St. Edmund's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Cecilia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, St. Edmund and Cecilia will both be playing South Lafourche the next time they take the field. The Fighting Blue Jays will host the Tarpons at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 4:45 p.m.
