Football Game Preview: Lisbon vs. Clayton-Ridge

Clayton-Ridge will challenge Lisbon on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Clayton-Ridge don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

It's always hard to lose, and it's even harder to lose by a single point. Just ask Clayton-Ridge, the unfortunate recipient of a 14-15 defeat at the hands of Maquoketa Valley last Friday.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Lisbon, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They have to be aching after a bruising 0-21 loss to MFL MarMac. The state rankings had actually given Lisbon a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
