Basketball Recap: West End Comes Up Short

West End was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 56-37 to the Crossville Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-34 back in November of 2024.

West End's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Crossville, their victory bumped their record up to 15-12.

West End will challenge Pennington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pennington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully West End likes a good challenge. As for Crossville, they will take on Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Douglas' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
