Basketball Recap: Brayden Brown's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Twin Valley over Woodstock

If Twin Valley was riding high fresh off their 89-47 takedown of Mill River last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Twin Valley Wildcats fell 53-41 to the Woodstock Wasps on Tuesday. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Twin Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brayden Brown, who posted 15 points. The matchup was his 19th in a row with at least 15 points. Carson McHale was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to six assists and five rebounds.

Twin Valley's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Woodstock, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Twin Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Twin Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.6 points per game this season. As for Woodstock, they and Leland & Gray will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played.
