Ponderosa couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 44-7 loss at the hands of the Palmer Ridge Bears. The Mustangs have struggled against the Bears recently, as their game on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
