If Lamar was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Creekview on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Ridge Eagles on Tuesday. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 19-25, 25-18.

Lamar's offense was headlined by Nylah Charles and Emmi Schutte, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Mary Hoeller and her 19 assists. Hannah Mcwethy and Corinne Timmons kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Zoe Patteson went supernova For Lake Ridge., getting seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Patteson a new career-high.

Lamar now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Lake Ridge, they pushed their record up to 18-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
