Soccer Recap: Whiteland Takes a Loss

Whiteland managed to keep up with New Palestine until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Warriors came up short against the Dragons, falling 5-1. If Whiteland were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to New Palestine when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Whiteland's goal came courtesy of Elijah Wright, who's now up to two this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Whiteland and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for New Palestine, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Whiteland will head out to square off against Greenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Palestine, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Franklin Central at 7:30 p.m.
