Soccer Recap: Palmer Comes Up Short

Palmer and Homer squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Palmer had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mariners, falling 4-1. Palmer have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Palmer's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5-1. As for Homer, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8-1.

Palmer has already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Ketchikan on the 30th. As for Homer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Soldotna on the 30th.
