Softball Recap: Enterprise Comes Up Short

Enterprise dropped their record down to 17-10 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Cedar Reds, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Wolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Cedar, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-5. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by six runs or more this season.

For Cedar's part, Sadie Parson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Parson has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mya Bishoff, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Shaylee Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

As of now, neither Enterprise nor Cedar have any future games scheduled.
