Berwyn/Cicero Morton hasn't had much luck against Addison Trail recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Mustangs will venture away from home to square off against the Blazers at 4:30 p.m.

Alyssa Kunz was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Addison Trail). They blew past Proviso East 17-1 on Wednesday. Considering the Blazers have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
