Basketball Game Preview: Post Falls Trojans vs. Ridgeline Falcons

The Post Falls Trojans will head out to face off against the Ridgeline Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Post Falls' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Post Falls fought the good fight in their overtime match against North Central on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of 58-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Trojans have suffered since December 1, 2023.

Meanwhile, Ridgeline played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Mt. Spokane and fell 69-39. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-15.

Post Falls will have to keep a close watch on Brayden Allen and Caden Andreas, a pair of players who had a big impact on Ridgeline's prior game. Allen posted 12 points and four steals, while Andreas had 14 points and three steals.

Post Falls' record now sits at 1-3. As for Ridgeline, their record now sits at 1-1.

Post Falls beat Ridgeline 65-56 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Andreas, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 20 points.
