St. Clair came out on top against Owensville on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run seventh inning. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Dutchmen 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted against the Dutchmen since May 3, 2021.

Austin Dungey was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Clayton Ingram, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

St. Clair's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Owensville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Coming up, St. Clair will challenge Salem at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Owensville has already played their next matchup (against Fulton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
