Softball Recap: Anson Has No Trouble Against Forest Hills

Anson won the last time they faced Forest Hills and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bearcats were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Yellow Jackets. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Anson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Forest Hills, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Anson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-4 loss against Richmond on the 14th. As for Forest Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 23-1 victory against Monroe on the 14th.
