Volleyball Recap: Pebblebrook Comes Up Short

Pebblebrook was the 2-0 winner over South Paulding when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Pebblebrook sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 23-25, 25-18, 21-25, 15-13.

Pebblebrook now has a losing record of 13-14. As for South Paulding, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-15 record this season.

Pebblebrook will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lithia Springs at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for South Paulding, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 0-0 victory against Tucker on the 18th.
