Football Recap: Wayne Memorial Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wayne Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 29-21 to the Dearborn Pioneers. The Zebras lost against the Pioneers in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 58-0 score last time.

Wayne Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Dearborn, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Wayne Memorial will welcome Belleville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dearborn, they will head out to square off against Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.71 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
