Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nanakuli). They really took it to the Waialua Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up an 81-39 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Hawks as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Finneus Moody, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 10 points.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Waialua, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nanakuli and Wai'anae will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waialua, they will challenge Campbell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
