Volleyball Recap: Dripping Springs Comes Up Short

Dripping Springs lost against Fulshear back in December of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Dripping Springs still got an impressive performance from Allie Jenkins, who had 20 assists and 14 digs. Another player making a difference was Drew Fuquay, who had 16 assists and six digs.

Dripping Springs' loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Fulshear, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-8.

Dripping Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Jenks on the 30th. As for Fulshear, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Westlake on the 30th.
