Volleyball Recap: Gettysburg Battlers vs. North Central Thunder
Gettysburg kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the North Central Thunder.
The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-15.
North Central was led to victory by Ashton Heyne and Sydnee Malsam. Heyne had six aces and four digs, while Malsam had nine digs and two assists. Those six aces gave Heyne a new career-high.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Central beat Gettysburg by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.
