Casey-Westfield proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Richland County Tigers. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Casey-Westfield's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Richland County, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Casey-Westfield will square off against rival Mt. Carmel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Richland County is set to face off against their familiar foe Robinson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
