Softball Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

Warren lost against Harlan back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warren Warriors lost 12-6 to the Harlan Hawks.

Yaya Castillo was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Celi Flores, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Harlan, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Coming up, Warren will challenge Brennan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harlan, they will face off against Sotomayor at 5:00 p.m. on March 19th. Harlan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
