Basketball Recap: Remington Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sedgwick last Monday, Remington came back down to earth. The game between the Remington Broncos and the Moundridge Wildcats didn't end well, with the Remington Broncos falling 46-32. The Broncos were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Moundridge's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addy Patrick, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 15 points. Macy Kaminkow was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

Remington's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Moundridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

Remington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moundridge, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats challenge the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on February 28th. Ell-Saline has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with 11 straight defeats, while Moundridge will come in with seven straight victories.
