Volleyball Recap: Treasure Coast Comes Up Short

If Treasure Coast was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of St. Andrew's Episcopal Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans came up short against the Centennial Eagles on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-7, 25-16.

Leading Centennial to victory were Claritza Lopez and Zoey Armstrong. Lopez had 21 digs and one assist, while Armstrong had six digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Armstrong a new career-high.

Treasure Coast's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Centennial, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Treasure Coast has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Atlantic Christian on the 18th. As for Centennial, they will head out to square off against Okeechobee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
