Basketball Game Preview: Yoakum Bulldogs vs. Palacios Sharks

The Yoakum Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Palacios Sharks at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Yoakum has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 20.

On Friday, Yoakum ended up a good deal behind Hallettsville and lost 52-38.

Meanwhile, everything went Palacios' way against Rice Consolidated on Friday as Palacios made off with a 45-23 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sharks.

Yoakum's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Palacios, their victory bumped their record up to 15-12.

Yoakum came up short against Palacios when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 44-37. Can Yoakum avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
