Recap: Pepperell Dragons vs. Darlington Tigers

The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pepperell in their matchups with Darlington: they've now lost five in a row.
Pepperell's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eliot Goggans, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds. The matchup was Goggans' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kyson Robbins, who scored 7 points.
Pepperell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Darlington, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Pepperell will be playing in front of their home fans against Armuchee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Armuchee is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Darlington, they will head out on the road to face off against Coosa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Coosa will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 409th, while Darlington is ranked 13th).
