Basketball Game Preview: East Tigers vs. Centennial Stars

The East Tigers will square off against the Centennial Stars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Centennial is facing East at the wrong time: East suffered their first home loss of the season on Saturday and they're likely out for redemption. They fell just short of the Irish by a score of 59-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since January 9, 2024.

Meanwhile, Centennial had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 66-56 win over the Punchers.

Centennial has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for East, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5.
