Soccer Game Preview: Lockhart vs. Wimberley

The Lockhart Lions will face off against the Wimberley Texans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lockhart will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

Lockhart's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Shoemaker as Lockhart made off with a 3-0 win. Give the Lions' defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Wimberley didn't have quite enough to beat Bandera on Saturday and fell 4-3.

Lockhart's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Wimberley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1.

Lockhart was able to grind out a solid win over Wimberley in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, winning 3-1. Will Lockhart repeat their success, or does Wimberley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
