Sean Sherrod posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Helix is 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 5-8 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Sherrod and Helix will face off against El Capitan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
