Basketball Recap: Hazel Park Takes a Loss

Hazel Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Eastpointe Shamrocks, falling 60-39. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 52-42 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hazel Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Eastpointe, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hazel Park will square off against Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hazel Park is facing Lincoln at the right time seeing as Lincoln is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Eastpointe, they will host Detroit Leadership Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
