With a playoff win on the line, Georgetown rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Randle Lions as they made off with a 16-1 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Georgetown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 24-9-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Randle, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

Georgetown will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
